Irony is
when the daughter you are spending all day trying to get to tell you when she needs to go potty, yells from her bed (when she is supposed to be sleeping) that "Alexis pooped!"
Oh, the first potty training. How long have you been at it? Would it make a difference if I suggested waiting until after you move? It would make the move easier, and the potty training easier on her (and you).
I had Xavier completely potty trained when Gary came back from deployment, Dominic was born, and we moved, all within a month and that was the end of that for another 6 months. I think if I had just waited, he would have done much better.
Potty training for Baby T should be starting here sometime soon, too. Even after all the other potty trainers, my confidence level for this skill is low!
Having traded in my own pair of combat boots for our first pair of baby booties, my husband still laces up his boots daily for Uncle Sam while I manage our troupe of dancers at home. Home is where the Air Force sends us, but we pray that our final assignment is in Heaven.
I do not get compensated for any of the items I talk about on this blog. If you click certain links on my blog and then make a purchase, I may get a small commission through that site. All photos and writing are mine, unless otherwise documented.

Good luck! It'll come.

ReplyDeleteGod Bless,

I just realised how incredibly depressing my comment could be to a potty training mama. Sorry!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIf your girl want to use the bathroom--go for it. It'll all work out. She's a healthy little girl. She'll figure it out.
